Steve Jobs released a tender love letter to the Apple iPhone faithful today, outlining plans to burp up a $100 dollar Apple Store credit. Asking followers to stay tuned as details are still being worked out and will be posted on Apple's website next week. Jobs wasted little time in trying to overt an iCult riot with a $100 rebate in the form of an Apple Store credit for early adopters of the Jesus Phone one day after delivering the "price cut" heard 'round the world.
"We want to do the right thing for our valued iPhone customers. We apologize for disappointing some of you, and we are doing our best to live up to your high expectations of Apple." Steve Jobs
The iCulture has come to expect the same loyalty from Jobs that they give. This Apple love letter might be an acceptable peace offering for some who paid the "cool tax", but it could ring hollow for others. It's fish and loaves for everyone! (read letter)
