A rumor boasting of an iPhone 1.1.3 firmware update that surfaced from CNET France has begun to gain steam in the U.S. after a report claiming that the friendly neighborhood Spiderman of France may be responsible for the supposed leak.
"Spiderman is a fanatic iPhone user," said Josienne Piette, "He loves Google maps, iDuck Hunt, Italian women and Brown Bears. What he wants is instant messaging which is a much better way to conceal his true identity. That upgrade is essential for him."
The rampant rumors flaunt two welcomed updates including voice recording and hard drive storage capabilities for iPhone but little else, pointing to a possible misdirection by a bored, bogus super hero wearing Adidas brand sneakers. Many top tech sites including Gizmodo are spreading the story quickly.
"If Spiderman says iPhone will have updates, it must be true. Why would he lie about such a thing? The update is useless for him" said Piette. The iPhone update 1.1.3 is rumored to drop via Apple this Saturday.(link)
