Rumors have begun to bubble under that iPhone Pink discussions are currently under way in China. The alleged special edition Pink iPhone is in response to a female FoxConn factory worker's recent meteoric rise to internet micro-celebrity after her photos appeared on MacRumors.
The young woman dubbed "iPhone Girl" by obsessed media stumbled upon her fifteen minutes of fame when an iPhone owner in Britain posted photos on the MacRumors website claiming he discovered her picture accidentally left on the home screen of his new iPhone 3G direct from the FoxConn factory. The mysterious woman was pictured dressed in a pink striped factory uniform, complete with matching pink cap.
A pink iPhone in China could spark the kind of fanatical demand that would motivate China telecom to strike an iPhone agreement with Apple that until now has been tangled in failed negotiations. A special edition 'iPhone Girl' pink Chi-Phone could potentially create frenzied hysteria among youth in China especially since "iPhone Girl" has become a national icon, adored by bloggers and a virtual darling in the Chinese media.
Unconfirmed reports indicate that iPhone Pink will launch with new iPhone Girl photos in the camera roll along with two of the original shots responsible for rocketing the FoxComm factory worker to internet stardom. The young woman has not yet been identified by Chinese media who have become desperate to gain her story first hand. Is pink the new red?

I'm all for it. iPhone Girl's photos should be loaded on every pink iPhone sold in China. They should even send a bunch of them over to the U.S. I think the iPhone Girl is sweet with a great smile. I like the idea of a ChiPhone Pink iPhone. Cool name. China Mobile should really take advantage of this momentum and sign a contract with Apple. I wish the Chinese people would petition for the iPhone in China. "V" for victory or peace is a great symbol. And her representing the working class in China. Go, iPhone Girl.
I googled on iPhone Girl today and there was endless amounts of entries for her, but most of it was just recycled info.
