I love Face Melter! I spent half an hour morphing Steve Jobs and the Zune Tattoo Guy into hideous versions of their former selves while giggling out loud. This $1.99 photo manipulating app allows you to import any image from your iPhone library, camera roll or snap a fresh photo to torture on the fly.
Tweak your photos with one finger, create a short stubby chin or lengthen a nose. Use finger pinch to bloat up a face or create that classic bug eyed look you were sporting in your 3:00 a.m. mug shot.
I loved being able to make subtle changes to my picts or have the option to create extreme meth head looking face melts at will in either portrait or landscape mode. Reanimated photos can be saved to your camera roll or easily erased to start over again and again until your friends ditch you like a used Treo.
Face Melter reminded me of Super Goo, a photo bending program I obsessed over several years back in Mac OS 9. Turning Woz' cranium into a balloon head worthy of ropes at the Macy's Day Parade was stupid fun. While my creation of a creepy old looking El Jobso was gratifying but frightening. Face Melter is the most fun I've had with photos on my iPhone without getting arrested.
