BELFAST - The Belfast Apple store grand opening delivered all the excitement and spectacle anyone could have expected, being the first religious experience of its kind in Northern, Ireland. The Victoria Square location was packed with hundreds of Apple faithful patiently filling up queues, with many waiting all night for their chance to walk through the entrance of the holy Apple temple to partake in proper worship.
One man described the event to the BBC in this way, "It's quite an experience, not the normal retail experience from Northern Ireland," expressed one Apple store line sitter, "As you can see it's mental, absolutely mental, but yeah, definitely worth coming down, I enjoyed the experience."
Cameras quickly honed in on one knit capped teen, waiting since 6 a.m. to goof on the wildly popular Apple event. The lad's weapon of choice was a bottle of 'correction fluid' cleverly used to write the word SUCKS in crude lettering across his limited edition Apple tee shirt. (pictured at top)
"That shirt was the unholiest sight to behold on such a profoundly glorious day of retail brand worship as this was," said Apple loyalist Davey Allen, who proudly showed off an Apple logo he recently had tattooed onto his FUPA (Fat Upper Pubic Area).
The highly sought after collectible Apple tee shirt was gifted to the first 1,000 Mac fanatics in the store. The one man comic assault on Apple's Belfast store grand opening was believed to be an isolated incident. Which is fortunate since many Apple faithful are unable to truly grasp the humor in their fanatical, cult-like behavior.
An area man called the harmless tee shirt prank; "Disgraceful, embarrassing and painfully difficult to watch, much like Bill Gates and Jerry Seinfeld in those ridiculous Microsoft adverts." Say no more sir, we strongly agree. Those ads suck! I wish someone would fashion a tee shirt for that.
