Mercedes-Benz has just released a totally gratuitous iPhone app that shamelessly promotes the powerful driving sensation of their new C63 AMG. Complete with real life sounds, photos and videos, this app places the pure driving pleasure of the C63 right in the palm of your hand. I suggest using headphones to get the full visceral experience, darken the room and then give yourself a long meaningful test drive.
I was thrilled to learn that this app requires zero skill to operate, unless you consider navigating features with one finger a skill worth tagging on your resume. This full blown commercial thrill ride makes other apps feel lame and useless. I absolutely loved the videos, especially cruising down the Las Vegas strip which I did several times with my lady pulled up close. It was like watching nothing but full length commercials without the annoying TV program interruptions.
This app's ability to use iPhone's locator to "find a dealer" in my area was pure hottness. I only wish my ATM could pop out $63,000 as fast as a certified dealer popped up on Google Maps. I would pay money to enjoy the sensation of driving my virtual Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG over, and over, and over again. Then I'll do it some more after a proper lube. It should be illegal to download this much full throttle, gear head, auto lust for free. I rate this one four out of five Nanos.

Yeah, this is pretty sweet indeed (audio's KILLER) -- but if you like this app then you've gotta head to the 360-degree driving videos at AMG-360.com. Unfortunately the 360s don't work on the iPhone (Flash), but GO DRIVE 'EM online. And definitely wear headphones.
