iPhone 2.2 Firmware Jailbroken By Hacker Gang

Iphone_2.2_jailbroken

Apple's newly released iPhone firmware 2.2 has been jailbroken by the infamous Dev-Team pineapple gang. The resident hackmeisters report that QuickPwn for 2.2 and Pwnage for 2.2 for Windows and Mac are good-to-go along with detailed instructions on how to jailbreak iPhone 3G phones on 2.2.

“If you have a 3G iPhone and want potential soft unlock in the near future do NOT use QuickPwn, and do not use the official ipsw or the iTunes update process without using PwnageTool,” the Dev gang warns.

This extremely wild and dangerous gang of free-thinking iPhone hackers are still maintaining a strict policy of not being photographed, which makes the awkward use of animal disguises a necessary evil. While the staff here at iPhone Savior do not encourage iPhone jailbreaking, we must continue to report the efforts of the Dev-Team in order to maintain what shred of journalistic integrity we have left and to further the depth of our own self loathing.
