SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Just when you thought it was safe to own the number one handset on the planet, some Bay Area shoe gazer creates the wildly absurd "Mr. Phone Feet". It's an ultra-kitchy iPhone stand that creator Darren Sills (the mayor of Dork Town) likes to fondly call, "iPhone footwear for the masses". He's dead serious too!
"Mr. Phone Feet" works as a vertical iPhone stand while adding unnecessary flair and personality from obnoxious footwear. According to Sills, the heavy plastic stand allows the low profile iPhone dock connector to be securely inserted, instantly converting Mr. Phone Feet into a functional charging dock. Sills is designing both male and female fashion footwear while the current prototype model is being shopped.
Sills envisions a companion "Mr. Potato Head" iPhone app so users with an obvious iPhone foot fetish can virtually add the classic googly eye balls, nose and mustache to complete the unnecessary Mr. Pot Head ensemble.
"I'm confident I'll sell 100K of these in the first month," Sills said, "True fanatics will totally love adding feet to their iPhone. I hope my dock will be "a foot in the door" to launch a bunch of new ideas I have for other iPhone accessories." Who knows, an iPhone foot dock just may become the new "Pet Rock". People scoffed at that idea too!
