Warner Bros. has partnered with Last Legion Games to release the first casual massively multiplayer online adventure fighting game "Watchmen: Justice Is Coming", created exclusively for iPhone and iPod touch. Character creation is a key part of the Watchmen game, allowing for avatar customization as the game progresses along with skills editing to create your own masked super hero.
"Watchmen: Justice Is Coming" leverages Amazon's patent-pending CloudMMO web server technology to power the hand-held world of the Watchmen in real time. Players can roam the city streets of Manhattan circa 1975 in an always-changing game environment, with the ability to chat with other players and participate in street battles. Watchmen game territories include Downtown, Red Light District, Cemetery, Financial District, City Park and more.
Some are hoping the game will be released in tandem with the highly anticipated Watchmen film which debuts on March 6th. That's yet to be confirmed. Visit the official Watchmen: Justice Is Coming website for even more ultra-fanboy worship and updates.
