A life-and-death Twitter drama began early Friday morning when actress Demi Moore, an iPhone fanatic fondly known as "mrskutcher", received a random tweet from a woman known only by her Twitter username "Sandiguy", from Silicon Valley, CA that read,
"I'm just wondering if anyone cares that I'm gonna kill myself now," the woman wrote to the star.
Moore, who was in southern France with husband Ashton Kutcher, currently on location filming a movie, quickly replied to the distressed woman saying, "Hope you are joking." as she shared the scenario with her nearly 400,000 followers in real-time.
The next tweet made it very clear this was no joke. "Getting a knife, a big one that is sharp. Going to cut my arm down the whole arm so it doesn't waste time." Sandiguy wrote back to the celebrity.
Moore, who was aware that other Twitter members were anxiously trying to locate the person who wrote it, tweeted that she "was very torn about responding or retweeting that woman's post but felt uncomfortable just letting it go."
The brief exchange of tragic tweets prompted several people to contact authorities after the last message the woman wrote, "gbye...gonna kill myself now."
"At 4:37 this morning, the San Jose Police Department received a call from a citizen requesting that we check on the welfare of a 41-year-old female," San Jose Police Sgt. Ronnie Lopez told E! News.
"The caller indicated that she had been sending out messages on Twitter. Officers were sent to the address. There were no injuries but officers determined that the woman fit the criteria to be brought in for psychiatric evaluation, which she is currently undergoing." Source : E! News.
Moore, eventually tweeted a confirmation to her followers that the event was indeed real. "It is my understanding that the situation was not a joke and that through the collective efforts here, action was taken to provide help."
The collective caring of the Twitterverse helped save one person's life today, that's a story that will not soon be forgotten in the Kutcher household. Yep, there's an iPhone app for that, it's called Tweetie!
What most people don't realize, is that only ten hours before the alleged suicide tweets began, celebrity Mac chick Demi Moore, tweeted her own distressing message, "Lost my iPhone today (found it) and was away from any twitter opportunities." In hindsight her words are a profound understatement.
Ashton Kutcher praised his wife's efforts in a tweet sent out to his nearly 700,000 followers saying, "Wifey reported a suicide attempt based on a at reply tweet she got and saved someones life. the woman is in the hospital now."
It appears that mrskutcher quickly relocating her lost iPhone in France, turned out to be more of a lifesaver than anyone could have ever imagined. But we all know that iPhone's don't save people's lives... people do!
Demi Moore, closed her Twitter day with this final reflective tweet, "Good Night Twitterers-this day has been extraordinary. I am taking pause to reflect on all the blessings I have in my life Thank you!!"
UPDATE: "Sandiguy" recently tweeted this response at about 6:30 PM PST, "Oh and please see
every Kutcher movie in the world at least three times. I pledge to help
others as you have all helped me. Thanks isnt enuf." about 1 hour ago from web
Note: Twitter logs the client used for each tweet at the bottom of their messages, i.e (about 4 hours ago from Tweetie). This same detail can be found on the iPhone Tweetie client as well.

Hello...Demi beat the records of all Hollywood beauties on display of naked bodies on the covers of glamorous magazines! For the first time in 1980, the magazine Oui, and then double magazine Vanity Fair, one of whom was seven months pregnant, really shocked the public.
