SAN FRANCISCO - The WWDC 2009 banner captured from outside the Moscone Center reveals Apple will continue celebrating it's wildly popular App Store which has quickly become a game changer for the mobile industry right behind the launch of iPhone.
The banner's appearance has caused quite a bit of hootin' and hollerin' across the blogosphere for anxious developers poised to descend on San Francisco like Godzilla for the sold out event starting on June 8.
Much speculation has begun surrounding Apple's tagline that resides front and center, "One-year later. Light years ahead." One of the more popular tagline interpretations points to the launch of a new iPhone one year later with new hardware, processing and a 3.0 feature set that's light years ahead of last year's epic 3G release.
Another bit of wishful thinking is aimed at the launch of an iTablet that would place Apple years ahead of the competition. A wet dream that's still shared by many Apple faithful.
It's rumored that at some point Apple will shower the keynote audience with custom made one inch by one inch sized app confetti, featuring thousands of app icons falling from above. A grand display designed to celebrate the achievements of thousands of developers planing to be in attendance.
