On September 9, 2009, Apple's beloved CEO made a triumphant returned to the stage at the company's wildly publicized iPod event dubbed "It's only rock 'and' roll, but we like it". CatScottArt has created an original illustration commemorating the official return of Steve Jobs to the helm at Apple, inc. Jobs took the stage with a standing ovation from the crowd at the iPod event after a six month leave of absense, in part to undergo a liver transplant.
"I created it in honor of the return of Steve Jobs of Apple computers after months of his illness related absence." The artist wrote in her description.
Expect to pay $150 for this work of fine Jobsian art that does as much for celebrating the return of Steve Jobs as it does for immortalizing the iPhone as one of Jobs' crowning achievements. I felt instant tingling in my geeky parts at first glance.
The work was created using Watercolor, Acrylic, Gouache, and Prismacolor colored pencils onto illustration board. The finished piece is an 8"x10" matted with a white, 11"x14" acid-free beveled mat, supported by a 1/8" thick acid-free foam core backing board. (frame not included).
