Dial n Walk ($1.99) is the latest app-tastic contender to join the see through iPhone revolution. I was a huge fanboy who drooled over the ($.99) Email 'n Walk app when it was released last year. Even though Dial n Walk wanders into familiar territory, I'm certain it's going to elevate drunk dialing to an absurd new level.
The ability to access and search your contacts with the "see through" power of iPhone makes this app instantly move past being just another novelty toss off. While contacts are pulled over, favorites and recents are only populated by calls originated from inside the app. I'm not feeling total man-love for that idea, but I like being able to add to the favorites list direct from my contacts.
Dial n Walk can be very useful making calls while watching TV or when taking up space at your favorite java hole. It's just mindless fun for the mobile nerd.
Developer Luke Campbell may be forced to launch a half price sale sooner than later to get iPhone cheapskates interested in giving his transparent dialer a try. But I'm sure that email driving maniac Lane Roster, from Huntington Beach, California is willing to give this one a proper test drive on the highway at twice the price.

Thanks for the review!
