Vans has launched one of the most highly sought after iPhone cases on planet earth at the moment. Their epic Waffle Sole case, released at their flagship store as a limited run prototype, showed up in both traditional tan and red. A few of the cases were added to the Vans online store but they sold out almost instantly.
This ultra-cool silicone case features a waffle sole replica on the back, red heel-tag replica on the side and toe-cap replica on the top. The front portion of the case has a thin black stripe around the border. Vans has managed to turn a simple but clever concept into a thing of urban legend overnight.
But before you decide to plunk down $103 on Ebay for one of these wildly popular prototypes, you should know that the company promises to have more in stock by February, priced at around $30 each. Good luck getting your hands on one when they eventually return to retail stores.
Waffle boy is compatible with iPhone 4G and 4GS.
