Here are the first photos showing off Apple's colorful 2012 event banner at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco. Wait. What?
Posting this image of a barely recognizable Apple banner is just plain lazy and worthy of a FAIL tag. It's very typical of the kind of half-baked Apple junkmail that gets passed off these days as "breaking news", just to yell — FIRST!
“These banners are typically of little indication of what the company will announce, but they’re always interesting enough to check out, if anything from a design standpoint.” Federico Viticci wrote for MacStories.
Exactly what part of these photos are "interesting"?
What's even worse is that many established Apple news blogs like MacRumors and Cult of Mac jumped in headfirst to join the slacker parade by following suit with the same story — adding their own unique color commentary to the mix of useless news.
“Apple typically posts large, colorful graphics signifying its events at the site.” MacRumors said with a link to last year's event banner.
Come on guys! Really? This is just embarrassing. What do you think?

And how does this make you any different?

How can you guys call the post that's calling FAIL a fail post? It's inconceivable!!

This post is more of a fail than these images. Go spend your time on something more useful.

I don't know what's wrong with it. Steve Straza obviously happened to be there while they were hanging the banners and snapped some pics. It's nice to know that Apple is getting ready and this is getting me excited and it reminds me of the event next week.
The guy will probably come back later when the banner is all done and let us all see it. I honestly don't see any problem or fail here.
This post is what I would call useless.

FAIL! oh wait you already said that.

I prefer this kind of Apple news, then I don't have to think at all. I can just drool.
