Mark Hoekstra at Geek Technique has perfectly timed his modification of an iPhone suffering from a cracked faceplate (that he quickly snatched up from the graveyard) just in time for Halloween. The result of Mark's painting, slicing, sanding and adding parts from an old Apple Extended Keyboard have birthed a pretty amazing monster of sorts. Dr. Geekenstein spent two full weekends in his laboratory meticulously constructing his Newton-like masterpiece. I call Mark's creation "The Frankenphone." It's Alive!
You must see the building process that Mark laid out so brilliantly in pictures over at geektechnique.org. I thought it fitting to feature a monster themed homage video to honor Dr. Geekenstein's creation. Feast your eyes on the 'Frankenphone' before villagers storm the castle with their torches and pitchforks and it disappears into the dreary night to never be seen again. It's Alive! (oh, I already mentioned that)
