The big Apple news today is the story of Georgia resident Danny Williams who has reported that his iPod Nano spontaneously caught fire in his pants pocket sending flames flying. Williams, who works at a kiosk at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, said "he noticed flames coming up to his chest."
Williams told Atlanta's WSB-TV, "If [the] TSA had come by and seen me smoking, they could have honestly thought I was a terrorist."
That's "one hot statement" bound to offend terrorists everywhere.
Caution: If you see someone on fire (or smoldering) at an airport or
more specifically on fire at an airport kiosk (like the ones that give
5 minute massages), immediately shout "terrorist" very loudly and point
at them until authorities arrive. "Do not try to offer any assistance
at all, it's best to let that filthy terrorist burn." said John Cooke,
Assistant Director of Homeland Security in Atlanta.
Apple has offered to replace the Nano for Mr.Williams who survived his "man on fire" ordel without sustaining any burns and has voluntarily checked himself into a terrorist sensitivity training course under advisement of the TSA.
