It's No iPhone! You'll be hard pressed to find a Voyager review that does not include a mention of Apple's iPhone no matter how hard they try to resist. iPhone has become the gold standard in which every other smartphone released after June 29, 2007 will be measured against. Ouch! "That's gonna leave a mark." Tommy Boy.
"If you close one eye and squint a bit Voyager might pass as an iPhone, but you'd have to be pissed off your arse to make that work." said Colin Farrell, backstage at the 2007 'Cell Phone of The Year Awards' hosted by Wirelessinfo.com. Here are my Top 5 industry reviews.
1. "Verdict: Ambitious but flawed." Gizmodo
2. "Is it an iPhone? Absolutely not, but it is as close as Verizon will come at the moment." CellphoneForums
3. "Can you call Voyager an iPhone? Certainly not, because we own the trademark you frigtard." Steve Jobs
4. "The Voyager is probably the best illustration yet of Verizon's fundamentally flawed wireless strategy. Apple's perch atop the cool phone market will not be threatened by the wayward Voyager." Source: The Street.com
5. "Voyager tastes great with my syrup poured all of over the top, stack 'em up baby!" Mrs. Butterworth
Form your own opinion about Verizon's LG Voyager. I say it's no iPhone and definitely no iPhone killer, that much is certain.
InfoSync World Video Review (here) Charlie Sheen iPhone goof (here)
apple cant invent a new item, instead they rehash the "I" in the name and tack it onto anything and hope for the best. the iphone is far from a success so much so that the price was lowered by 200 and they refunded early adopters 100. apples name has gone to hell and if it weren't for the ipod there wouldn't even be an apple these days
