Anyone knows that iPhone and water are natural enemies in the wild, much like the scalpel and scrotum which victims of a vasectomy are painfully aware of. If your iPhone gets water damaged, you can expect no love from Apple and a refurbish bill of about $250 clams.
Blogger Caroline Armijo learned that lesson the hard way when her iPhone was damaged in a freak pocket soaking mishap. Caroline has now chosen to waterproof her iPhone using a snack size zippy sandwich bag found at any Target store for $5 (for box of 50). According to Caroline, she's still able to use the touch pad perfectly and callers have confirmed hearing her crystal clear voice through the magical sheath.
The iPhone (full body condom) zippy case is perfect for quick waterproofing out in the snow, running in the rain or even for that extended fishing trip. It's no fashion statement but it works. Caroline has posted a great list of practical iPhone tips to follow for those unfortunate soakings, including using home insurance to cover damage. Her waterlogged iPhone was repaired for only a $100 deducible.
I suggest you zip it! Thanks for the tip Carloline.
Please let me know, the launch date of iphone in India. I am waiting.
Thanx
Rishi
