In a report willfully barfed up after hours by Mac Soda, Dan Lyons dropped a deuce that he's planning to discuss reviving his wildly poplular Fake Steve Jobs blog with Newsweek. It appears that Lyons has options. I'll be the first to admit that The Real Dan Lyons blog has lacked the brilliant satirical bite that was delivered behind his faux Steve Jobs persona.
“Anyway, I’m starting at Newsweek tomorrow and Fake Steve was supposed to be part of my job. So we’re going to discuss whether to revive the blog,” Lyons told Mac Soda.
The result of Dan Lyons launching skuds at an industry of unsuspecting frigtards while wearing the Fake Steve Jobs mask was epic humor. It was black, dense and full of childlike piss and vinegar. It's called 'schtick' broseph! Without the El Jobso mask, Danny boy seems to be reduced to a mere mortal lacking any recognizable super powers to save the day. He's become one of us. Who needs that?
I would welcome the triumphant return of Fake Steve Jobs with less concern over the right career move for Lyons and more of a suicide intervention. Don't dump the blog Dan... you'll kill yourself!
I'm a fan. I bought his book. I bought his schtick. Now like the rest of his twisted commentards, I want more of what made Dan famous... not being Dan Lyons. The suits at Noobweek must know that much about their newly hired hack master of ceremonies. The real Dan Lyons is dead! Long live FSJ!
I've been listening very closely lately and I haven't heard the fat lady singing. Not yet that is. Have you?

I loved the FSJ blog. I think if it revived I would love it, though I am a bit soured by some of Dan's real personality revealed through his blog. Anyways, he is an actor in the FSJ blog, and there are a lot of actors who's real personalities I don't like at times, so its all good.
He is a very talented satiricist in the FSJ role.
