With Facebook boasting over 100 million users strong, it's a no brainer why the Hollyweirdos want to cash in with a feature length film. Aaron Sorkin, creator of The West Wing, is set to make another useless drama about the controversial origins of Facebook for Sony Pictures.
There's little doubt that fresh faced founder Mark Zuckerberg can't be thrilled about the film venture since Aaron Sorkin also wrote 'A Few Good Men', which begs the question; can Zukerberg's legion of Facebookers 'handle the truth?' Facebook the movie is certain to rank just above 'Encino Man' in opening weekend ticket sales, especially if Pauly Shore is cast as the Zuckmeister.
With 100 million loyal followers, I would be thinking about creating a Facebook lunch box, Facebook beer and even Facebook condoms
to encourage safe poking. The social networking site has already
achieved mega cult status and will soon have its own epic movie to
prove it. Why not cash in on a full fledged merchandising landslide
around the film? Though a Mark Zukerberg action figure may be taking
the whole thing a bit too far.

Yes! I will poke all of my friends to see this movie no matter how bad the reviews are. I will steal popcorn too as an homage to the origins of Facebook.
