Steve Jobs officially announced the release of iPhone 2.1 update available this coming Friday, September 12th. Cult of iPhone faithful can expect the 2.1 update to “fix a lots of bugs" according to El Jobso. Jobs promised significantly improved battery life, fewer dropped calls, less crashing issues, increased speed for iTunes backups and
various other fixes. Bla, Bla, Bla!
Reports of a September 9th release for the 2.1 update were off by a few days. Sudden death by the rumor mill strikes again! It was disappointing to learn that an update was the only iPhone news. Let's hope that it delivers all Jobs has promised.
"fewer dropped calls" eh?
well...it is required that you are able to accept or connect a call in the first place to be able to drop it.
lets fix that

Man...I really had high hopes up for Turn by Turn Voice for the 3G GPS. This is sloppy, Jobs. Very Very sloppy.

I can't wait for Friday. I really hope this upgrade goes smooth and everything works as said by the boss. Let's cross over fingers.
