SAN FRANCISCO - Steve Jobs was in the building! The infamous Mercedes SL55 AMG owned and operated by Steve Jobs was spotted parked on 3rd street across from the San Francisco MOMA entrance on Monday. No license plate, just a UPC barcode. That's so James Bond.
There was no sign of Apple's beloved CEO who managed to make a quick, stealthy entrance into the "Let's Rock" event hall to run through his presentation for Tuesday's event. Gene Munster from Piper Jaffay confirmed Jobs will be the key presenter and a picture of health. If you had any doubt that El Jobso was not gonna show... you would be dead wrong broseph!

@griffin: use as many caps as you want, but you're still wrong. It's black. A new '09 SL 63 AMG. That is, unless he decided against buying it. But even then you're still wrong. What makes me laugh at your insistence with your caps that it's his car is the fact that it's mine. You think MB made just one silver SL 55? I saw at least two others on the drive from my house.

So WHAT IS this "special exemption?"
Do you have to give the state of CA lots of money?

It's HIS car for sure. I've seen it in other picts. Steve Jobs has a special exemption that allows him to have a UPC/barcode instead of a license plate. Nice deal if you can get it!
