Last week's episode of Bones "The Crank In The Shaft" on Fox, featured a few significant Mac cameos that put this show on the map as patently Mac friendly. The first product shot came into view when actor Emily Deschanel who plays Brennen, is seen at her desk over the top of a huge MacBook Pro.
The lengthy scene features Brennen's Apple laptop from two Mactastic angles, making it impossible for any true fanatic to ignore. The next brilliant cameo is uncovered when a new iMac is spotted inside the "Bones" lab during a scene with Dr. Jack Hodgins played by TJ Thyne. [more photos after break]
A rare sneak peak (below) shows a black MacBook in a snap shot from this week's episode "The He in the She", actor David Boreanaz pictured playing lead FBI detective Booth. One Bones fan tipped me off an iPhone spotted (below) in the Season 4 opener "Yanks In The UK", prominently featured in a close up playing back video. Booth uses a perfectly boring Razor which makes a cameo in "The Crank In The Shaft". I refused to put that photo on display because it's just so painfully passé.
Apple's wildly popular Macs seem to be making more TV appearances as they are rapidly gaining market share and more importantly mindshare, by instantly adding the required cool factor to an otherwise mundane scene. Bones is on Fox, Wednesday night 8/7 central. [more Macs on TV]

Well, Macs are the best, so why wouldn't America's best crime-fighting team be using them? It only makes sense!

The wife and I have been catching up with the series since a friend recently turned us on to it and have made numerous Mac sightings in season 1 episodes. And the show's good too.;-)
