9 to 5 Mac has posted a rumor producing shock and awe on planet Mac, supposedly revealing what Apple's rumored 'Brick' actually is. They are confirming that the 'Brick" is not a product.
"The MacBook Brick is a block of high-quality, aircraft grade aluminum. It is the beginning of the new Apple manufacturing process to make MacBooks. It is totally revolutionary, a game changer. One of the biggest Apple innovations in a decade". According to a 9 to 5 Mac rumor.
While the report of Apple's manufacturing innovation may be groundbreaking, it will prove to be a huge disappointment for thousands of Apple faithful holding out for a new Apple product of epic importance. Rather than a long term manufacturing process that might eventually drive down the price of MacBooks for committed Mac addicts.
"The MacBook manufacturing process up to this point has been outsourced to Chinese or Taiwanese manufacturers like Foxconn. Now Apple is in charge. The company has spent the last few years building an entirely new manufacturing process that uses lasers (w/o sharks) and jets of water to carve the MacBooks out of a brick of aluminum." said 9 to 5 Mac.
The 9 to 5 Mac site also went onto confirm that refreshed MacBooks are still scheduled for an October 14th announcement indicating that press should be getting invites within the next few days. Read all of the juicy details at 9 to 5 Mac. More news is certain to surface soon.
