Jon Morrow has unleashed his wild Apple obsession onto a 2010 Chevy Camaro concept car he affectionately calls iRod. It's easy to imagine Apple integration into every inch of this bad ass road warrior supercharged with a thumping 502 cubic inch Northstar V8 engine under the hood, pushing out 760HP performance.
Enjoy the extreme pleasure of manhandling iRod remotely through an iPhone app capable of starting or stopping the engine, working power windows, door locks, interior climate controls, trunk and power seats with the gentle touch of a finger.
Engage iMaps and iRod concierge to provide full featured trip planning tools powered by Google. Then let iControl take over on the road using GPS to set your cruising speed based upon the the speed limit and other cars in proximity. The on-board heads up display powered by Snow Leopard OS X, insure Apple connectivity to the internet, email and iChat are always within view when you want them. iTunes and Apple TV controls are also neatly integrated into the dashboard display with two terabytes of drive storage.
Morrow has done a stellar job imagining Apple taking interest in something other than a metro-sexual iCar from Volkswagen. Not exactly the kind of ride American dreams are made of. Including an epic endorsement from iRod owner Jenna Jameson may just be the best feature yet. I'll take the drop top please.
"America, it's time to get your cool on."

Awesome ideas for dash and HUD -- GM needs to team up with Apple desperately -- the creation would be far better than Ford/Micro$oft's Sync...
