The long anticipated Android Market upgrade enabling users to download paid applications onto their handsets has almost reached planet earth. Starting today, developers in the US and the UK can finally publish their boob shaking apps with end-user pricing. Priced applications will become available for download by US T-Mobile G1 nerds sometime mid next week according to Eric Chu at the Android Developers blog.
Developers in Germany, Austria, Netherlands, France, and Spain will get their chance to experience the potential gold rush from paid applications later in Q1. Like Apple, Google will offer developers 70% of the take on paid apps.
Also announced, is the free Android Market for Australia which will become available to users starting on February 15th, Pacific Time. It will be interesting to see how quickly the onslaught of paid farting applications make it into the Android marketplace. No matter what country you live in farting is a universal language.
