Here's another fantastical concept created by designer Mac Funamizu who imagines using a prototyped foliage plant-like solar cell module as an environmentally friendly iPhone charger. Adding a flair for green living to any workspace for the cult of iPhone fanatic.

Funamizu has brought his vision of green solar power to iPhone charging wrapped inside an ultra- slick, modern design. The challenge is making sure the iPhone is accessible for use while being charged. A tweak that's simple to accomplish.
I can easily see this energy efficient, "plant-meets-charger" concept being highly sought after in the not so distant iPhone future as a premium priced option. I would buy it just for a conversation starter.
"I thought it would be nice if there’s something good to look at and environmentally friendly in your room like this." Funamizu writes in his design blog.
