Apple has issued invitations for what is being called "a sneak peek" event centered around iPhone 3.0 software on March 17. I wonder if Apple will offer any cues to a next-gen iPhone launch date? Probably not! Though it appears we'll get a glimpse at what's new in the SDK. See invitation details below and let the wild speculation begin.
"Join us at an invitation-only event to learn about the new SDK and get a sneak peek at the iPhone OS 3.0 software. The event takes place at Apple, Building 4, Town Hall on March 17 at 10:00 a.m."
I'm filling up my wish list with MMS, video, copy and paste and push notifications for 3rd party apps. One more thing just as a side note... how about a more efficient app approval process. That would be nice. Apple has given no clues about who will be presenting at their event, which may quickly become the bigger news story. Duh!
