It's amazing how accurate Apple can be when taking keen aim directly at Microsoft's soft underbelly. In this new ad it takes only simple facts to unravel Microsoft's entire range of PC choices by process of "Elimination. It took Apple a fair bit of time to fire back at the Microsoftie's 'Laptop Hunters' ads, but the wait was worth it.
The ultra-pale, Veronica Belmont-like, nerdy chick does a great job of making her wish list known only to lose the whole room of turd gurgling PC's due to a lack of anything worthwhile. The edits in this one are sloppy but the message is crisp and clear.
Get a Mac. Regrets not included.
Nik, " I'm perfectly happy with my PC. It runs great with Vista" has obviously NEVER used a MAC !
This is advertising at it's best, does everything it should in a perfectly acceptable way while managing to make a fool out of the opposition.
Brilliant!

This ad is just brilliant advertising. Forget the underlying competitive battle, this commercial is a perfectly succinct, 30-second spoof of the latest MS attempt to claim some kind of advantage over Apple. Especially witty are the last lines, "...I'm a Mac." "And I'm a Megan." which completely zing the entire MS "I'm a PC" campaign

Come on, obviously more PC's crash than Mac's but I'm perfectly happy with my PC. It runs great WITH Vista and it's never crashed and/or froze up. And yes, it has a pretty large screen and quick processor.
