CUPERTINO - Call it irony or serendipity, but the first epic photo of Steve Jobs captured since he took a medical leave in January for a liver transplant was taken using an iPhone. According to some reports, an iPhone-slinging amateur paparazzi managed to snap the first photograph of Apple's CEO for this TMZ.com exclusive as Jobs left his Cupertino, California office at One Infinite Loop around 3:00 PM on Wednesday afternoon.
Though Jobs has been back on the job at Apple headquarters for about a month he has yet to make a public appearance, leaving shareholders and the world at large only to speculate about the state of his health. This rare capture confirms that Jobs is indeed back at the helm as CEO.
The Wall Street Journal
reported on Wednesday that Steve Jobs was asked by Gary Shapiro to deliver the keynote presentation at the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Jobs has yet to respond to that invitation while the WSJ has yet to prove that their report is little more than rumor.
