SAN FRANCISCO - Six weeks ago Nate Bolt's unibody MacBook went missing, he feared it may have been stolen. Out of the blue, Nate received a call from the San Francisco Apple Store to inform him that his laptop had been found nearby on Powell Street.
Apple Store Genius, Aaron Kelley, came to the rescue of the abandoned MacBook left for dead on the street, in critical condition. He immediately leaped into action as any heroic, crime fighting Apple store Genius would, quickly attending to the laptop to ensure any priceless data could be recovered. Because it's all about the boot up baby!
"Aaron Kelly, decided to try and recover my data for me, figured out who I was, Googled me, and called me in France. I came home and they had it waiting for me," Nate Bolt said, referring to his recovered laptop at the Stockton Street, Apple Store.
"IT STILL BOOTS AND WORKS PERFECTLY with an external monitor." Bolt said.
Of course it does!
Though this story ends badly for Nate and his hideously mangled laptop, it's still a tale of Mac-tastic triumph that makes me all misty-eyed. In a totally manly way of course. Way to go Aaron! Way to go.
