It appears that Apple was meticulous to ensure their store design here remained consistent with the feel of this Quezon Province neighborhood in the Philippines. I can't wait to see what the Genius bar looks like.
I'm convinced that the owner of this roadside convenient store knew exactly what he was doing when he worked out the name for his little shop of horrors. The second sign (in white) totally gives away his misguided intentions. Who would actually be fooled by this epic Apple store failure?
Currently, the only Apple Store open in the Philippines is online or the iCampus reseller at Ateneo de Manila University. Somebody call Steve Jobs already!

I live in the Philippines and there's more stores than iCampus and the online store. there's Power Mac Center, iStore, iStudio, The A.Shop and lots more resellers. Just saying.

Back in the late-90s, I was over in Saigon when I saw a van with an Apple sticker in the window (the rainbow logo). I asked my friend what was written on the side of the van. They told me it was "Apple Taxi Service."
Thats said, Apple can trademark "Apple Store" as a place to buy computers, peripherals, etc. But if I create a store that sells a variety of apples, I'm pretty sure Apple cannot prevent me from calling it "The Apple Store." As long as I don't start selling cellphones or computers in the store, I'm pretty sure I'm safe.
