MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) is now officially available to AT&T customers using both iPhone 3G and 3GS models. Older model iPhones are not included in the big MMS parade. Original iPhone owners can still view MMS messages received by using the lame View my message website.
Once your carrier settings are updated you must reboot (restart) your iPhone in order to fully enable MMS. You'll see a small camera icon next to your text box confirming that it's good-to-go. Apple suggests opening a new message to test the service.
Apple has posted a handy guide to Enabling MMS for those who like step-by-step directions. The update enables iPhone faithful to finally send pictures and videos via the phone's messaging application. So Let the texting party begin!
For those about to rock MMS... we salute YOU!
