The idea of converting an iconic Nintendo joypad into a fantastical iPhone dock is like hot chicken soup for the nerdy soul. Designer GeekUnique, insists that it's time to "Say goodbye to your boring iPhone docking stations and let your geek flag fly."
The classic 1985 brick-like design of this hand-tooled NES controller "Rock Dock" is an inspiring creation capable of conjuring up epic memories of 8 bit gaming without the hand cramps. I'll take the Nintendo controller dock over the "Duck Hunt Cartridge" dock any day of the week.
Expect to pay $30.99 for this unique nod to retro gaming imagined especially for iPhone (or iPod). That magical feeling of childlike wonder is guaranteed upon delivery.
Now this is a truely, brilliant idea. Any gamer old enough to remember the original Nintendo NES, will appreciate this. I would love to buy one of these and i bet the comments would be great to boot! I think this company should make one out of the old atari, playstation, sega genesis, etc. This is almost like a tribute to Nintendo.. well done!

In my humble opinion is the best console out there, the others simply follow the way when Nintendo has innovated in the market with games like Mario Bros, Zelda, Donkey Kong has always topped the list of the games number one, my respect for Nintendo.

I will have to consult my geek evolution chart dating back to 1976 in order to confirm if a modern geek is more prone to violating accepted standards of the "TRUE Geek" in the name of progress.
I'll let you know what I find out.

Just a quick note that all of the controllers, games, and consoles we use are non-functional to begin with. Like you, I would never trash a working classic game piece.

No TRUE Geek would allow a NES controller to be mangled in such a fashion! Not even for an iPhone.
A TRUE Geek would still be using the controller with a fully restored NES (either original or converted to a portable/purse)

Now if they could only make a controller that works with iApp games, that would really be something I'd actually buy.
