Instead of releasing a TV ad counter-attacking Verizon for their blatantly false and misleading ads painting AT&T as having feeble and spotty 3G coverage, the wireless giant chose to set the record straight by releasing a very public response that reads like a tender love letter to their iPhone customers.
The company's "just the facts" approach, while still a grand marketing effort is commendable since we live in an age where people believe everything they read on the internet anyhow. Here are a few highlights.
- Unlike Verizon, AT&T offers the most popular smartphones in the industry.
- Unlike Verizon, AT&T customers have access to more than 100,000 applications.
- Unlike Verizon, AT&T's 3G network lets wireless customers simultaneously talk and surf the web or do e-mail.
- AT&T's wireless data coverage reaches 303 million people – or 97% of the U.S. population.
Going direct to the iPhone community to hack off Verizon's fantastical fantasies is a big brain move that makes it difficult for the drooling Droid-meisters to counter. As long as iPhone rules planet Earth I'm holding onto my bromance with AT&T. They're willing to fight hard for my obsessive man-love.
At&T... I love you man.
Highlighted facts are showing the major difference between business strategies of both companies.By the way,the smart phone range of AT&T has lot to offer unlike the Verizon.
