Leaked screenshots exposing Google's Nexus One phone reveals that the wildly anticipated Android powered device will be sold unlocked, direct from Google for the unsubsidized price of $530 USD. The subsidized price will run $180 when purchased in tandem with a mandatory 2 year contract with T-Mobile, according to Gizmodo.com.
The HTC manufactured phone will retain the name "Nexus One" rather than being called by the nickname, Google Phone.
Customers are limited to buying 5 Nexus One handsets per Google account. A 500 minute T-Mobile rate plan includes unlimited text, SMS, IM and Android web bringing the total to $79.99 a month according to the screenshot (below).
Early cancellation prior to 120 days will result in paying "the subsidy difference between what you paid and the unsubsidized price, so $350 in this case." Jason Chen writes for Gizmodo, or you can take the option to return the phone to Google. The company requires that you authorize them to charge your credit card directly. Nexus One launch is expected on January 5th.
