It seems like the kind of fabricated tale that keeps tabloid rags in business, but the story of 30-year-old Lena Bryce, giving birth to an app-tastic little baby girl after using an iPhone fertility app is true. Lena and Dudley Bryce, tried desperately to conceive a child together for four years. Just as Lena started to lose hope, iPhone entered the picture as a birthday present from her hubby.
"Doctors couldn’t find any reason why we hadn’t been able to get pregnant," Lena Bryce told The Sun tabloid. "We were considering IVF and adoption when Dudley gave me the iPhone for my 30th. I typed in 'get pregnant' and downloaded five apps."
"The Free Menstrual Calendar was easiest to use so I stuck with it and in two months I was pregnant. Now we have our gorgeous daughter and couldn't be happier." Bar manager Dudley added: "I'm over the moon. It's all worked out and we're just so happy."
Lena began using the app to correctly align her most fertile days, that's when she became pregnant. On January 22nd, she gave birth to a beautiful 6lb 12oz iBaby that the couple named Lola, born at Glasgow's Southern General Hospital. Lola was delivered on the exact date the iPhone app predicted, making this epic tale grow a bit larger in scale.
Having trouble getting pregnant? There's a free app for that!
