Directly on the heels of their epic iPad launch, Apple has officially announced the unveiling of iPhone OS 4 with an invitation to the media that looks more like The Fantastic Four sent it. The announcement had most of the tech newsies feeling the power of Apple's shock and awe.
The event to be held at Apple's Infinite Loop campus in Cupertino, is being touted as a "sneak peek of the next generation of iPhone OS software."
The newest OS is expected to drive the release of iPhone 4G (fourth generation) speculated to surface at the start of summer as Apple has done for the past three years.
Many are hoping for Expose-like multitasking along with iTunes streaming to be part of the newest iPhone OS 4. iPad tethering would be nice.
We'll all know on Thursday, April 8th.
