Industrial designer Altamash Jiwani, has imagined a nifty pair of QWERTY keyboard pants tailored especially for iPhone 4. His snap-on prototype wraps around the iPhone using carbon steel slider rails, allowing a tactile keyboard to slide away for access to your home button.
The frame docks into the iPhone, auto disabling the virtual keyboard. A female dock connector is also provided at the bottom for charging.
Although Jiwani's design is slim fitting, the idea of trying to improve upon Apple's sexy construction by imposing a Crackberry style prosthetic keyboard makes me cringe. The end result instantly turns iPhone 4's stunning design into an unsightly robo-phone. No thank you!
Everyone, don't be so one sided about this. Although I agree that it does lower the sexyness that Apple has provided us, maybe some people actually prefer a physical keyboard. There are drawbacks to virtual keyboards, and some people would like a better acting one.
So how about you all praise it on something instead of hating on it, it's not like you HAVE to use it.

This is a stupid idea! Isn't the whole point of the iPhone that it's sleek and you don't need a keyboard! I wouldn't put anything but a screen protector on mine.
