Designers Tom Gerhardt and Dan Provost are the dynamic duo that created the new iPhone 4 tripod mount and combo kickstand they affectionately call "The Glif".
The Glif is equal parts simplicity and elegance with a reasonable price tag. But the best part is that its creation was fully crowd-funded by over 5,000 backers.
Tom and Dan originally set out to raise $10,000 in order to fund production through Kickstarter.com. They ended up hauling in over $137,417 to make their labor of love a reality.
Expect to pay $20 for this impressive little iPhone 4 marvel made from recyclable rubberized plastic. The Glif comes equipped with a 1/4"-20 thread designed to fit any standard tripod or camera mount. Shipping begins in 2-3 weeks.
