Three close friends who grew up together in Fresno, California have imagined a fantastical iPhone app that teaches users how to roll their own crowd pleasing, monster joints like a seasoned pro.

While it's impossible to verify how many of the 25,000 early adopters of the free Roll Your Own iPhone app are actually committed weed wranglers, one thing is certain, the early success of this instructional app may signal the start of a 'rolling for dummies' revolution.

The Roll Your Own iPhone application shows users how to carefully master rolling techniques including the "Classic" and "Classic with Crutch". You'll also find pounds of detailed photos along with well crafted step-by-step videos. The preparation section offers user friendly tips on mixtures, papers, packing and crutches for an optimized rolling experience. Verizon iPhone Announcement Due January 11th

Verizon is holding a special invitation only media event on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at Frederick P. Rose Hall in New York. The press party starts at 11:00 AM EST which should bring the announcement of iPhone finally coming to Verizon Wireless stores. The Wall Street Journal confirmed certainty of this epic announcement.

"The iPhone is finally coming to Verizon Wireless. The largest U.S. wireless carrier will make the long-awaited announcement at an event Tuesday in New York City, a person familiar with the matter said Friday." the WSJ reported.

When the iPhoneSavior hit squad searched Verizon's website under Smartphones, then Brands we quickly noticed that Apple and Apple iOS are present but not yet selectable. That should serve as proof that the Verizon iPhone launch is imminent along with the Windows 7 phone which is also present in the list.

The Verizon iPhone is expected to land at both Apple and Verizon stores on February 3rd. Since Apple has blocked all vacation requests from Thursday February 3, through Sunday February 6, it's likely they are anticipating huge crowds to buy the “new model” CDMA/GSM worldmode smartphone.

Apple iPhone Alarm Bug Persists For Third Day

HONG KONG - Some iPhone users across the globe complained of malfunctioning alarms on the first working day of 2011, even after Apple reassured users that its phones' built-in clocks would work from January 3.

Bloggers, as well as Facebook and Twitter users, complained they missed flights or were late to arrive at work as the alarm built into Apple's iPhone failed to go off for a third straight day for some users.

"Come on Apple, I thought the iPhone alarm bug was supposed to 'correct itself' by this morning?" tweeted Julie Morgan, a public relations executive in Portland, Oregon, on the social networking site. In an interview, she added, "Luckily, my internal alarm clock went off".

Similar messages were sent by iPhone users in Britain, the Netherlands and other European countries.

The snafu occurred even as Apple shares touched another all-time high of $US330.20, giving the company a market capitalisation of more than $US300 billion.

Kyle Wiens, who runs the popular Apple repair site iFixit, said the alarm glitch is likely due to a bug in the date code of the iOS software, which powers the iPhone. "It turns out the date code is not very stable," he said.

Apple Confirms Quick Fix for iPhone Alarm Issue

Midnight 2011 set off another iPhone "alarm fail" panic for those using Apple's native clock application. The issue which affects an iPhone alarm set to a one time wake-up, was reported by dozens of angry users via Twitter last night. Reports of the clock bug continued on Twitter late into the afternoon on New Years Day.

Apple responded to a direct inquiry by Engadget.com on the dysfunctional iPhone alarm hysteria.

"We're aware of an issue related to non repeating alarms set for January 1 or 2. Customers can set recurring alarms for those dates and all alarms will work properly beginning January 3." said Apple's Fiona Martin.

In order to avoid alarm failure until January 3, you'll need to set a recurring alarm by selecting repeat and then select the additional days you want the alarm to go off. That's the quick work around fix for the time being.

Hopefully January 3rd will bring calm back to planet iPhone. So take a patience pill and call me Monday morning.
