The brilliant minds at M.I.C. Gadget have released another limited quantity of Steve Jobs figurines for sale, but with a unique twist. The newest "Ninja Steve Edition" has been upgraded with more transparent glasses, a black belt and three detachable hands including Ninja stars, the white iPhone and black iPhone.
Expect to pay $90 each for this phenomenal "Pineapple CEO" figure direct from Hong Kong. A limited run of only 317 of these bad boys sold out in a few hours. Again!
Apple served M.I.C. Gadget with a cease and desist order only three days after the wildly popular Chinese website put the original 300 Jobsian figures up for sale.
That last round of collectible figurines were later re-sold in December on eBay for as much as $2,500 before Apple managed to shut down all sales on the auction website. The object for sale "violates a celebrity's right of publicity." according to eBay.
There's no doubt, "Ninja Steve" is an epic addition to this ongoing saga.
Brilliant! I missed the last round but bought 2 of ninja Steve this morning.
