If you're hoping to get Walter Isaacson to sign a personal copy of Steve Jobs' biography you may be one of the fortunate few. Isaacson is currently scheduled for only about a dozen appearances through January 24, 2012 and some of those are strictly members only, like his private lecture at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA on December 13th.
Isaacson Talks Steve Jobs at a handful of dates open to the public with ticket prices around $20 dollars. A small number of other stops are free bookstore events. I hope additional dates in 2012 will eventually be added.
It's no secret that the value of any high profile book when signed by the author far outweighs the ones without. Given the chance, I'll be getting my own book of Jobs signed for sure. You can find a complete listing of special appearances by author Walter Isaccson on Simon & Schuster's website.
