The idea of a retro camera iPhone case has been done in several different ways, but I've not seen one quite as well thought out as the Gizmon ICA. This vintage looking design conjures up the sexy feel of a Leica Rangefinder camera.
The $65 Gizmon case is beautifully designed with 32 different polycarbonate parts aimed at giving your iPhone the authentic feel of a real point and shoot. It features optional Macro 4.0x and Ultra-Fisheye lenses that snap into place priced at $45 each.
Two of the cooler features packed inside this premium case design is a real shutter release button that can be used with the default camera app and an "optical viewfinder". The Gizmon ICA System shows several other slick accessories like an attachable flash, retro leather case and remote shutter which are not yet posted for sale. Choose one of three finishes in either black, brown or white and pay $30 for a premium leather strap.
Gizmon Japan has definitely created the ultimate iPhone case for cell-photo nerds to obsess over. If it functions as good as it looks, I'm convinced this case is a gaint leap forward in the right direction for the art of iPhoneography.
