If you've missed the unending joy that the Walkman delivered back in the eighties, you'll be happy to eyeball this retro accessory that instantly transforms your iPhone into a Walkman-style music maker.
Audman is a new all-in-one case that lets you dock your iPhone inside and then take control of music playback by using analog buttons on the outside. Inspired by Sony's wildly popular portable cassette player, Audman comes equipped with a belt clip, two mini-speakers on the rear and an integrated, high-capacity rechargeable battery that powers the speakers and also recharges your iPhone.
The creators of Audman are launching a retro-styled companion iPhone app that looks similar to AirCassette, it will use old cassette tape art for music playback designed to complete the Walkman experience of listening to mixtapes all night long.
Audman is a Kickstarter funded project that offers two levels of backing, $85 for the stripped down LT model and $125 for the premium build. While the Audman is a tad pricey for a novelty case concept, I'm convinced some will quickly buy into the clever retro revival this unique design has to offer.
I don't miss the days of mixtapes or vinyl records, but having a functional throwback to a bygone era is a temping iPhone accessory. I've got my eye on the Ferrari red model myself. You can find more quirky/vintage products through Newegg; use this coupons.

Love the idea and design. Don't think it's too pricey since it has case, battery charger and speakers combined and gives the option of taking it everywhere.
