On January 9, 2007, Steve Jobs unveiled a brand new product for Apple at the annual Macworld Expo held at Moscone West in San Francisco. Steve Jobs opened that event as the keynote speaker. You can watch an excerpt of the video below.
"This is a day I've been looking forward to for two and a half years," said Jobs. "Every once in a while a revolutionary product comes along that changes everything."
"An iPod, a phone and an internet communicator. Are you getting it?," said Steve Jobs. "These are not three separate devices. This is one device. And we are calling it iPhone. Today Apple is going to reinvent the phone."
The original iPhone was introduced five years ago today. The rest my friends, is history.
