The first Steve Jobs biopic starring Ashton Kutcher as Apple's co-founder is scheduled to premiere at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival according to an official press release.
Festival organizers noted that "JOBS", directed by Joshua Michael Stern is set to be the closing-night film which should keep the all-important Hollywood execs around until the bitter end in order to catch a first glimpse.
Historically, the Premieres section of the event, have included some of the festival's highest-profile projects — 18 films are listed in that category this year.
The indie pic will chronicle Steve Jobs from his wayward hippie days to his role as co-founder of Apple, where he became one of the most celebrated creative entrepreneurs of our time.
In addition to Kutcher, actors Dermot Mulroney, Josh Gad, Lukas Haas, J.K. Simmonsa and Matthew Modine can be eyeballed in the film.
Josh Gad will channel the persona of Steve Wozniak, who created the Apple I computer and co-created the Apple II computer in the mid-1970s with Steve Jobs. The festival runs from January 17 through 27 next year.
