If you got an iPad and you're still wondering where the complete owners manual is, search no further. Even if you are already tapping your way through some of the basic functions on your new device, you'll find Apple's free user guide to be a priceless find. Download it through iTunes or directly to your iPad in a handy eBook format using the iBooks app.
Open iBooks on your iPad, tap Store on the top left bar, then select Browse on the bottom menu bar. Type iPad user guide in the Search bar at the top right hand side of your screen and tap download.
Although my post is aimed at new iPad users, everyone will find something that's bound to make at least one daily tasks much simpler. It's truly the missing iPad owner's manual that didn't come inside the box.
The content in Apple's 229 page iPad User Guide for iOS 5 does a great job explaining all of the iOS 5 features and functionality you may have missed. I found the About Camera tutorial to be extremely helpful for understanding how to take advantage of Apple's on-board photo editing tools, removing red eye from photos and trimming videos.
The company has also provided complete user guides for iPhone iOS 5, iPhone 4.2 and 4.3 as well as a iPad iOS 4.3 user guide for those still lagging behind.
If you haven't upgraded to iOS 5 just yet, this user guide will offer up a myriad of reasons why you should. What are you waiting for?
