The 'live' event broadcast to millions of Apple retail employees on October 19th is now available for all to experience online. A Celebration of Steve's Life, includes performances by Coldplay and Norah Jones along with a moving speech by Jonathan Ive.
In the video, Ive tells a tale of travelling with Jobs, going up to his room and leaving his bags packed by the door while sitting on the bed waiting for the inevitable phone call from Steve Jobs saying, "Hey Jonny, this hotel sucks, let's go". The story was used to illustrate how Jobs' desire for excellence pushed way past Apple's products.
